Claiming the street

These were taken at the wonderful day which was the Mayday Festival in Hamilton, Ontario. Chalked by both youth and adults, these temporary reclaimings of street space speak mostly for themselves. I feel taking pictures helps keep these messages going for as long as the digital images continue to exist.
