Flowerpot

Written by

Earlier last month we boarded a glass-bottom tour boat in the harbour village of Tobermory.

The tour tooks us to shipwrecks, bays, past islands, and to the Flowerpot Island.

The Flowerpot Island is named for the rock formation pictured here, formed by millenia of erosion by wind, water, and glaciers.

This day was a cold one for early September, and time was short so we did not have the chance we would have like to go hiking on the island. That will happen soon though, hopefully in the coming spring!
