Toad on the window

Written by

This toad had enough of the rainy early September weather and decided to seek a drier place to hang out -- the window of a cottage door.

There also seems to be a mosquito sitting next to him. A very trusting mosquito, assumably.

I had not seen this happen in a very long time, long enough that I had pretty much forgotten that toads sometimes do this. It can be a bit startling to see if you're not expecting it!
