Overlooking Dundas

Written by

I have been going back through my collection of photos taken with my phone (iPhone 4), and have found some nice quality pictures.

Included in that group is this overlook of Dundas, Ontario from the Sydenham Road's escarpment climb. With some minor alterations in iPhoto, it comes out quite nicely for an image captured by a cell phone.

I've been taking far fewer photos on a normal camera lately, not because I necessarily prefer the quality of the phone, but moreso due to the fact that I will tend to have it with me at any given time.

Keeping in mind I'm only an amateur at photography of any kind, my opinion is that the iPhone has a pretty decent camera for simple shots. It does include HDR now too, although for shot such as this one, HDR is not something that adds much to an image. My next image will be an example of the capabilities of HDR.

Most photos are taken with my "point-and-shoot" Canon Powershot, and a few of the newer ones are taken with an iPhone4. Some photos in the "articles" are not mine, where this is the case credit is given in caption.
